LIOVAC® 1110

Hydrogenated castor oil. It is a product in white flakes, odorless, with a high melting point and perfect compatibility with natural waxes, Montanwax, Ozokerite. It is approximately 90% composed of 12-hydroxi-stearic acids triglycerides and C16 - C18 – acids from the composition of castor oil which is its raw material. Used in the manufacture of lithium-based lubricant greases, several formulations of alkyd resins and in the composition of synthetic waxes, which can partially substitute carnauba wax.

LIOVAC® 1112

It is a saturated fatty acid, derived from hydrogenated castor oil, containing approximately 88% of pure 12-hydroxi-stearic acid, the rest being oleic acids (C18) and palmitic acid (C16) coming from the composition of the raw material, which is castor oil. LIOVAC® 1112 is a light beige crystalline powder, with a high melting point. Used in a variety of formulations of alkyd resins, in the composition of synthetic waxes and mainly for the manufacture of lithium-based lubricant greases.

LIOVAC® 1115

Hydrogenated methyl ester of 12-hydroxi-stearic acid. It is a product in white flakes, with a mild odor. Recommended when there is a need to manufacture lithium greases of modern technology and special performance. It has an excellent property for the lithium soap formation and being a methyl ester it is chemically much more stable than the 12-hydroxi-stearic acid.
